CRAFT TIPS
I add craft tip segments to this post every week so follow along.
Craft Tip #1
How to prep a canning jar for painting.
I clean my jars with a paper towel and rubbing alcohol before painting them with acrylic paint. This cleans and preps them for the paint.
Craft Tip #2
HOW TO DRY PAINTED CANNING JARS FAST
I paint my jars and dry them in the sunshine. They dry fast this way and it allows me to achieve several layers in large batches.

CRAFT TIP #6
Glue gun, canning jars and jute twine!
I buy my jute twine at Dollar General, bottom shelf hardware second. 1.00 a roll!
TIP #7
Keep your leftover fabric to create fabric rag balls to coordinate with your decor!
TIP #8
Cut fabric strips 8 x 3 1/4 inches and loop over a metal wreath frame and pull ends through the loop and pull to tighten. Work from the back row to the front alternating patterns as you go, I also use ribbon and jute twine too. Three strands of jute twine tied into a knot will create a mini spray. The photo below shows the finished crafted rag wreath.
CRAFT TIP #9
I love to recycle vintage sweaters into new craft projects. This sweater was covered in bright colored cotton pom poms. So why not save them!
CRAFT TIP # 10
For these mini pumpkins I used rolled fabric swatches and doubled over felt to create stems.
CRAFT TIP # 11
Sanding around the edges of painted wood will create a more rustic edging.
I use 220 grit sanding block.
CRAFT TIP #12
Give your home decor more depth and texture by adding Spanish Moss.
Craft Tip #13
How to create those candy canes we all love!
Wrap the end of the candy cane with a strip of fabric or ribbon and then wrap ribbon from end to end securing with glue as you go.
